What a fantastic way to take in the world most iconic motor race, the 77th Monaco Grand Prix. This is combined with ten days cruising around the Mediterranean and visiting a number of special locations, including Sorrento, the French Riviera and Barcelona. For the race itself, enjoy VIP hospitality in the Ermanno 7th Floor Suite! Free flowing Champagne and gourmet hospitality come as standard. Day 1: Saturday 18 May: (Depart Rome at 6pm).
Depart from London, flying direct to Rome. On arrival you will transfer by private Car to Civitavecchia where you will embark on “Azamara Journey”. You will be staying in a Club Ocean View Stateroom (cabin upgrades are available). The cruise includes all meals, a selection of spirits, international beers and wines, on board entertainment, gratuities and a concierge service.
Day 2: Sunday 19 May: (Arrive Sorrento 7.30am / Depart 7pm)
Looking out from Sorrento is the isle of Capri. The island is divided into two main parts, Capri and Anacapri. Capri is full of Italian luxury, with designer stores and five-star hotels, while Anacapri is slightly more down-to-earth. Take a chair lift ride to the top of the island, as the views are spectacular.
Day 3: Monday 20 May: (Arrive Portoferraio at 1pm / Depart 7pm)
Napoleon was once exiled here for ten years. Once onshore you can climb the impressive Medici Fortress, taking an open cable car up Mount Capanne, or enjoy a performance at Vigilanti Theatre.
Day 4: Tuesday 21 May: (Arrive Livorno at 7.30am / Depart 10pm)
The port city of Livorno has many charms of its own: the canals of La Venezia Nuova and Mercato Centrale, to name two. But Livorno is also the gateway to the magnificent art and architecture, palaces, churches and museums of Florence, as well as Pisa’s famous leaning tower.
Day 5: Wednesday 22 May: (Arrive Cannes at 1pm/ Overnight in Cannes)
Chic and glamorous, this iconic resort on the French Riviera is the place to see and be seen. Spot socialites and stars along Le Promenade de la Croisette, and shop for famous luxury brands. Head to the old town district of Le Suquet for culinary delights along winding cobblestoned streets.
Day 6: Thursday 23 May: ( Depart Canes at 11.59pm)
Your visit coincides with the 2018 Cannes Film Festival and it’s worth spending a bit of extra time here. Overnight in Cannes and enjoy two days rubbing shoulders with VIPs and Celebrities at this prestigious event.
Day 7: Friday 24 May: (Arrive Calvi 11am/Depart Calvi 7pm)
The birthplace of Christopher Columbus, channel his adventurous spirt while you make your way through this intriguing fortress city. Every step up to the Citadel is well worth it for the views alone, but you’ll also be treated to delicious restaurants and charming shops along the way.
Day 8: Saturday 25 & Sunday 26th May ( Arrive Monaco 8am Saturday/Depart 10pm Sunday)
Each morning tender ashore for the 2019 Monaco Grand Prix Weekend. Please note : Monaco harbour is closed during race weekend and you will be tendered to Fontvieille harbour. It is a 20 minute walk to Ermanno Palace.

From the 7th floor balcony suite, guests enjoy a panoramic view of 70% of the circuit, including the start-finish straight, all the action on turn 1, Beau Rivage plus everything from the tunnel exit through to La Rascasse. Day 10: Monday 27 May (Arrive Barcelona 5pm/Overnight )
Barcelona is a cosmopolitan masterpiece. With a history rich in art and architecture, medieval, Gothic, and modern influences can be seen all over the city. Start at the waterfront and stroll up the shady, tree-lined La Rambla and discover some of the city’s best shopping and bustling cafes.
Day 11: Tuesday 28 May
Disembarkation takes place from 9am. You will transfer by private car to Barcelona Airport for your return flight to the UK.
The cruise board basis is almost all inclusive. All meals are included. There is the option of two speciality restaurants which guests can pay a small cover charge for. Most drinks are complimentary and there’s also a range of premium drinks for which there is a charge.
