South Africa v England 3rd Test: St George’s Park / Port Elizabeth

Tour Dates: 15th – 21st January 2020

St George’s Park Cricket Ground is the home of the Port Elizabeth Cricket Club, and is one of the oldest cricket clubs in South Africa, hosting its first Test Match (vs England) in 1889. The ground is notable for its brass band that plays during major matches, adding a unique flavor to its atmosphere. This is the 3rd Test Match of the series, and is another popular venue, so book early! The suggested itinerary includes 4 star hotel option, but we can of course book another hotel in Port Elizabeth if that is what you would prefer, just get in contact with us.

This package includes match tickets for all 5 days, and transfers each day. Please ask us to quote for flights, or you can just take the ground package. There is also an option for a shared hospitality package – please ask us for details.

Day 1: 15th January
On arrival into Port Elizabeth Airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel for your 6-night stay. Known as ‘The Friendly City’, Port Elizabeth is the fifth largest South African city and the capital of the Eastern Cape. Port Elizabeth is a city which feels more like a town – big enough to have everything you need but small enough to feel right at home and welcomed. With the largest stretch of coast between Cape Town and Durban, it is a popular holiday destination for those seeking summer sun and sandy beaches.

Day 2: 16th January
This morning you will be collected from your hotel, arriving at the ground in plenty of time for the start of this iconic test match. You will be in shaded Grandstand seats. There is also the option of being in the shared hospitality section of the main Grandstand, and the package includes lunch & drinks for days 1-4 (Day 5 on a cash basis) – supplement £650 per person.

Day 3-6: 17th to 20th January
Enjoy the Test Match! If the Test Match only goes for 4 days, the tour includes an optional city tour on Day 5.

Day 7: 21st January
You will be collected from your hotel and transferred to Port Elizabeth Airport for your onward/return flight(s) & arrangements.
